Pre-enrollment begins April 7 for families who want their children to attend Lawton Public Schools’ pre-kindergarten program.

Donna Catlin, LPS director of pre-kindergarten, said pre-enrollment typically runs through the summer, ending when school begins Aug. 13. Pre-enrollment may be made through the LPS website: lawtonps.org.

The student must be age 4 on or before Sept. 1 to attend pre-K for the 2026-2027 school year, Catlin said. Parents should bring their child’s shot records and birth certificate during school check-in in August, if they did not upload the documents when they pre-enrolled their student.

Lawton Public Schools has four sites that host pre-kindergarten classes:

Brockland Elementary, 6205 NW Ferris, which serves the Almor West, Crosby Park, Edison, Eisenhower, Hugh Bish and Woodland Hills elementary school areas.

Freedom Elementary, 5720 Geronimo Road, Fort Sill, which serves the Freedom elementary school area.

Learning Tree Academy, 1908 NW 38th, which serves the Ridgecrest and Cleveland elementary school areas.

New Horizons, 900 NW Cache Road, which serves the Carriage Hills, Lincoln, Pioneer Park, Sullivan Village, Pat Henry and Whittier elementary school areas.

Additional information on pre-enrollment may be found through the Lawton Public Schools website, lawtonps.org.
